Copper Foil is best suited for multi-pieced work that requires intricate detailing
The availability of traditional Glass Stainers’ paints, Transparent Enamels, and Silver Stains allow the artist to further enhance the medium of stained glass. The artist is given the opportunity to add more detailing, shading and highlights to give the finished piece a more realistic look and depth.
Turner works with an array of glass mediums such as mirrors, glass goblets, plates, etc. when creating etched glass art. Etching can be accomplished by the use of chemicals and/or pressure blasting.
Beginner Level Copper Foil classes will consist of two consecutive Saturdays that will instruct students on the procedure of the Copper Foil method. Each attendee will create a stained glass panel that will be theirs to keep. All supplies furnished.
Advanced Level Lead Came classes will consist of two consecutive Saturdays that will instruct students on the procedure of the Lead Came method. Each attendee will create a stained glass panel that will be theirs to keep. All supplies furnished.
A custom generated exquisite design is created by listening to you. When carefully selected pieces of stained glass is added to your design, your vision will materialize before you and become a family treasure for generations to come.
